All Star Design Team - Nature's Sweetness

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the  Nature's Sweetness suite  from the Mini Catalogue. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I've tried a monochromatic mood with a pop of colour.  I used a Blended Brush to apply Soft Sea Foam the the edges of the card front, with just a light touch of Blueberry Bushel then toddled off to the kitchen and ran my finger tips under the tap and flicked the water onto the card front to create the watercolour splatter. While the card front was drying I stamped the leaves on Soft Sea Foam cardstock and then coloured with Stampin' Blends.  The flowers were stamped on Basic White and coloured with a mix of Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath, then I went around the edge with Soft Sea Foam before die cutting. Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2024

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Parakeet Party, Granny Apple Green and Calypso Coral - straight away I thought of flowers, and decided to use the soon to be retiring Two-Tone Flora stamp set. I used a Blending Brush to colour the background, and used one of the Basic Border Dies to create the "banner look" at the bottom of the panel. I used 1st and 2nd generation stamping for the flowers to create the two tones, and daubers to ink the based of the leaves in granny Apple Green and the tips in Parakeet Party. All Star Design Team - Rock & Roll!

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the  Rock & Roll suite  from the Mini Catalogue. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I've used different Designer Series Paper and stamping compared to my tutorial - what I love most about this DSP is that it is Black & White, lots of designs to add a feature POP to your cards, or like I have hear be the back ground to your design. I silver embossed the microphone for extra detail and added strips of colour before mounting my card front. I added the sentiment to the inside of the card, and carried the stripes theme through too. And here's something you probably don't know - I own a guitar! You wouldn't be surprised that it is hot pink though - I started to learn during our covid lock down, but stopped when I injured my shoulder when

Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2024

It's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and the soon to be retiring Sweet Sorbet! Mmmmm sorbet, I will admit the thought did cross my mind to have an Ice Cream when is saw the colour combo for this month, it's been a week where the temperature reached 40 degrees (or 104 Fahrenheit), thankfully it is cooler today - I've been out in the garden trying to keep my plants alive and this morning noticed some flowers on my hanging geraniums..... there was my inspiration for today's design! With a cooling Lost Lagoon DSP background layer prepared I White heat embossed flowers and leaves, (all from the Irresistible Blooms suite) then added colour with a Aqua Painter - Sweet Sorbet flowers and Pool Party leaves. I dressed up the edge of the card front using an Elegant Border Die and a strip of cardstock the I embossed straight lines using my score board. I used a sentiment from t

All Star Design Team - Lighter Than Air

The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. Like my tutorial, I've featured the Designer Series Paper for my card - this paper is sooooooooo pretty! Pastel yet bright, it's a win win for me. The Hot Air Balloon bundle is fantastic too - stamp your own balloon's and die cut in your choice of colours, and detailed dies, the possibilities are endless! Lighter than Air Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Bundle. Color Fusers Blog Hop January 2024

Happy New Year! It's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Parakeet Party, Daffodil Delight and one of my old favourites Melon Mambo! What a bright and bubbly combination, so I decided to create a "Feel Better Soon" card - I'm seeing a number of friends posting on Facebook that they have come done with Covid, so this will be perfect to lift their spirits. I've used a new stamp set from the up coming catalogue released in a couple of days " Painted Lavender ", and not with a hit of purple in sight! The layered sentiment from Wanted to Say Dies is perfect for this design - and I finished with some Bakers Twine.
